CHALLENGE

With no color and a collection of mismatched furniture and accessories, this living room lacked personality.  The homeowners had a very limited budget but wanted a room that would be warm and inviting.
SOLUTION

What a transformation! Moving Home Interiors warmed up the room with an accent wall and a fabulous area rug, and then gave it some pizzazz by removing the clutter and coordinating the accessories.
CHALLENGE

This dining room had great potential, but looked cold and drab with no furniture or window treatments.
SOLUTION

Moving Home Interiors created a traditional dining room with some rich looking furnishings.  We gave the walls a suede paint treatment, anchored the room with an area rug, added some beautiful silk window treatments and some elegant furniture.  The result?  A room that mirrors the style of the house - beautiful and elegant.
CHALLENGE

This empty family room lacked character and looked like any other family room on the market.
SOLUTION

This room now looks like a room ready for a family.  The walls were warmed up with a neutral color, while the ceiling was painted a darker color for balance.  We then added some comfortable furniture and stylish accessories complete the room.
CHALLENGE

This family room looked confusing.  The furniture and accessories did not compliment each other and there was too much clutter to even see the room.  The family needed to sell this house quickly and had a very small budget for home improvements.
SOLUTION

This family room underwent a few changes, but what an impact!  We replaced the love seat in the corner with a chair and ottoman (found in another room of the owner's house) which created a much nicer overall seating arrangement and cozy setting by the fireplace.  We also removed the toys and clutter and created a lovely mantle arrangement using a print (found in the homeowners basement) and added a few inexpensive, but updated accessories.
CHALLENGE

This powder room looked very plain and had no pizzazz. This home was competing against a large market of new homes and needed something to make it stand out.
SOLUTION

This room is now a show stopper. The warm brown walls, accented with the black vanity, vessel sink and mirror now give the room a "spa" like quality.
CHALLENGE

This living room needed help.  It was the first room a prospective buyer would see upon walking into the home.  The room had no focal point or seating area and was full of clutter and mismatched items.  The largest challenge was to make a big impact with a very small budget.
SOLUTION

Now this room gives anyone entering the home a warm welcome.  We removed all of the clutter and toys, as well as the miscellaneous artwork on the wall.  We created a focal point with the piano and a seating area to the right.  A fresh coat of paint, window treatments and simple accessories pulled this room together using a very small budget.
CHALLENGE

This finished basement had been primarily a storage area for the homeowners and quickly became a disaster area as they started packing to move.  This basement needed to be cleaned out and staged using items the homeowner already owned, due to budget constraints.
SOLUTION

The first order of business was to clear out the boxes and put them in storage.  We then rearranged the furniture to create a more useable space and pulled the room together with accessories.  Now this finished basement looks much larger, brighter and much more cheery!
CHALLENGE

With no color and no accessories, this guest bathroom lacked warmth and felt as empty as it looked.
SOLUTION

With calming blue walls that contrast with the white fixtures and cabinets, white towels and shower curtains, and shell and candle accents, this bathroom now provides the appeal of a spa.
CHALLENGE

This master bathroom looked sterile and uninteresting.
SOLUTION

We warmed up the walls with a warm beige color to offset the white fixtures and cabinets.  We changed the cabinet hardware to a more up-to-date nickel finish and added aqua accessories to coordinate the bath with the master bedroom.
CHALLENGE

As an empty room, this master bedroom doesn't provide any appeal.
SOLUTION

By adding paint to warm up the wall, furniture, luxurious bedding and accessories, this master bedroom now looks like a room that could be a private escape and perfect for relaxation.
CHALLENGE

This kitchen had potential, but without any furniture or accessories, it was difficult for a buyer to envision how the space could be used.  The empty butler pantry and outdated light fixtures were the only items that were really noticeable.
SOLUTION

With the addition of sleek new light fixutres, furniture and accessories, this kitchen now shows how much workspace and storage it really has.  By adding a bakers rack to the butler pantry, a buyer is no longer confused with what to do with that space.
CHALLENGE

Even though there is a fireplace, this room lacks warmth.  The two story ceiling, large windows and the fireplace are barely noticeable with the bland background and empty room.
SOLUTION

This room now has great style and shows off the wonderful features with the use of the dark accent wall.  By adding furniture and metallic accessories the room appears even larger than it did without furniture.
CHALLENGE

Like the living room above, this dining room doesn't give a good impression.  It has great features such as an open floor plan and bay window, but they are not even noticed because the room is so bare.
SOLUTION

Now the dining room looks ready for entertaining.  By changing the light fixture, painting the walls and adding window treatments and furniture, a buyer can now imagine how to use this room.
CHALLENGE

This living room was the first room a prospective buyer would see in this empty home.  With no furniture, accessories or color, it drew attention to the scuffs on the walls and dust that had accumulated from being empty for so long.
SOLUTION

This room now provides a warm, fresh welcome.  We added a beautiful sage color to the walls to provide a backdrop for the warm and neutral furnishings.  We also added window treatments that soften the windows and accessories that give the room an updated look.
